I just wanted to post this article by Will because I thought that it was a fantastic read. I really wish that there was more journalism addressing the real issues in the Middle East and how our policy making inconsistencies and "moral flexibility" have gotten us into more trouble than they have gotten us out of.

Anti-Terrorism

I look forward to his next article about this part of the world.

A few days ago, China's foreign ministry suggested that the campaign against terrorism should address "separatists" in Tibet and Taiwan.

Wow! That's pretty freaky.

Will, you wrote a brilliant and thoughtful piece as usual.

Yes well thought with a semi objective style of writing, how about some suggested solutions Will?

Will rocks. I've been a fan of his writing since the '96 election (when I came across his columns for Slate).

And when I came across this site in '99 and found that -- in addition to CC being the Platonic ideal of NBA fan sites -- he was an established contributor here, I just had to make it a frequent destination.

I'm just disappointed that he ended his previous Slate piece with the familiar "serenity prayer," when an arguably more appropriate version would have been the alternative phrasing I read several years ago on a bumper sticker (in San Francisco, of all places):

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the firepower to make the difference.
