After the first two rounds of the playoffs, I don't feel so bad about him winning the MVP award. What a great player! Maybe Shaq should have won it, but Nash's playoff performance should shut people up who downplay his value.

Now that the Suns have dispatched the Mavs, they must lose to the Spurs. But now that I am a serious Nash fan, I guess I could handle them going to the Finals. I didn't see the game, can someone describe what Cuban looked like near the end or after the game? Make my day.

I don't feel bad about it at all.

He is damn good. The last 3 games were amazing for any position player, but for a PG?! WOW.

Check out the Goo Suns thread if ya want to read what others have to say (congrats to Nash).

Yah, I had made previous comments about Steve Nash not being the real MVP of the season, but that was because he played NOTHING like how he played against Dallas. The guy was a straight up superstar against the Mavs, I don't know what got into him (perhaps because they are the older team he used to play for?).

He was rediculously good this series, and if he keeps this up, either he will run out of gas or he will get the Suns to the NBA Finals AND win it. If he is playing this way, it will be tough to beat the Suns.

    1) Nash's performance was definitely MVP like.

    2) This was, what, the first time in 20 years that both teams scored over 100 points in every game of a 6 game series. Phoenix basically only plays 6 - 6.5 players. Clearly each one of thier starters is going to rack up the stats. As mentioned tonight, you don't get elevated to Magic, MJ, Bird status until you do this when it really matters.

Props to Steve...gotta keep it going, though.

What's the deal with that 6th-grade haircut, Mark? You're a man now, get a man's haircut. Surely you can afford it.

I am truely amazed at what Nash has put up the last 3 games. In these playoffs he clearly has risen his level of play to a level way beyond where he ever was before. Amazing stuff!

I've been a skeptic, but Nash had an unbelievable series. Dare I say, an even better series than T-Mac had against the Mavs.

Sure you can dare to say it... Nash beat the Mavs, T-Mac did not.
