I'm looking to rent out my house but I don't want to deal with everything that goes along with it. I'd like to find a management company that I can pay to handle it all for me. Anyone here have any experience renting out a property and using a management company? Any suggestions which ones are good or bad?

I am currently renting mine out through a management company while i am getting out of the army in Augusta, GA. My experience so far hasn't been bad, the worst part is waiting for someone to rent it out, as far as the management company. They should charge you no more than 10% per month for the services if so you can find one cheaper 10% is ideal. Are you trying to make a profit out of renting it out or break even? My situation, I am renting mine out to military family's and make about 75 dollar profit a month. Not much but that is not why i was into doing it. As far as property management companies in houston. I would just try local real estate agency's most of them have Management companies, you just never noticed!
