    From wikipedia:

Hensley met John McCain in April 1979 at a military reception in Hawaii.[17] He was the U.S. Navy liaison officer to the United States Senate, almost eighteen years her senior.[18] He was married to his wife Carol, and had previously had extramarital affairs in the mid-1970s.[19] Carol and John McCain had separated briefly once, but had since come back together.[17] McCain and Hensley quickly began a relationship,[18] traveling between Arizona and Washington to see each other.[9] Carol and John McCain separated permanently in January 1980,[20] Carol accepted a divorce in February of 1980,[17] effective in April 1980, and then John and Cindy were married on May 17, 1980 at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix.[9] They made a prenuptial agreement that kept most of her family's assets under her name;[21] they have since kept their finances apart and file separate income tax returns.[21]

    ------------------------------
These statements show that McCain is simply untrustworthy, unable to commit, and has, in general ethical and character issues.

That is because Obama IS a Muslim and wants to destroy America from within. I can't believe you all don't see it.

McCain's an open book. He's been in the public eye for over 30 years, and has been the second biggest media w**** in Washington for 10 years. (Here's to you Mr. Specter.) Everything that you want to know about McCain is out there.

Obama is an unknown quantity. He barely got his Senate seat warm before he started running for President. Before that, he was the Illinois State Senate District 13 Senator for 8 years.

Basically, most of what was known about Obama when he threw his hat in the race was what Obama told us in his books. Obama is being vetted in the public eye. That, combined with the fact that he's a more engaging person than John McCain, make for a lot more coverage.

He's unfaithful to his wife so he's not fit to be president?

Did you feel the same way about Bill Clinton, Ronald Regan, RFK, and I'm sure many others?

Or is it the prenup -- which is pretty common amongst the jet set.

I have to agree with you here, it is a fair point, but at the same time there was alot less scrutiny of lets say GWB, who had even less public service than GWB. maybe the point is we've learned our lesson.

sorry, gwb had alot less public service than obama

Hey! Does anyone have any idea how much Mr. Cindy McCain made today with the sale of the family company?

I thought she owned an AB-distributorship not the brewer itself, so the answer would be zero. Of course the distributor might own AB shares. so it would be whatever they are.

In theory she could lose out if InBev shifts AB distribution to their preferred distributor (in case it's not already her). Of course I doubt this would happen, given her husband's clout.
