So if you watch I Am Legend on IMAX next month, you'll get to see the first 8 minutes of the Dark Knight, one of the scenes in the movie that was shot in IMAX. Here's a behind the scenes look from the IMAX website.

I hope a trailer comes out before then though because it is really time they started marketing this movie to the general public instead of the viral campaign targeted at people who are already going to see the movie anyways.

dark knight isn't due out for like...another 6 months at least...why are you so concerned about the marketing for a movie that you won't see for arguably almost another year?

it's freaking batman...it'll be advertised plenty.

with that said...cool find, I can't wait to see I am legend...this is all the more reason to.

Don't be silly. I've seen commercials for movies 18 months in advance. It's called marketing, building hype and excitement. Some people are excited about this movie.

yah...and all of those generate SALES. what do you care how much money the movie makes as long as you get to watch it, and it's enjoyable? which you won't be doing for how long? another year? sheesh.

...and please don't say "no sales no sequel" because that is just common sense, and it still has no baring on this conversation at all.
