It seems that new factions have risen at Clutch City since Charles Barkley's departure. On one side, we have the "Possums." They believe that the Rockets title hopes for the next decade are in the hands of the NBA lottery. They argue that the Rockets should roll over, play dead, and lose as many games as possible to ensure a high pick. On the other side, we have the "Proletariets." They believe that good basketball teams are built by hard work, learning, and dedication rather than amassing loads of raw talent. Caveman, I'm pretty sure you fall under the latter, and if so I'm right behind you buddy. The myth of greatness via charity must be destroyed. Only teams who put forth the work over the years win. We must not become the Clippers! ------------------ WE WILL WATCH THEM FALL.
Becoming the Clippers is my worst nightmare! ------------------ There is no offense without a good defense.
I think I am both. I wasnt to see a game like the latter category but I also want them to lose to get just one really good lottery pick. Maybe they lose on a phantom foul call. Like now. They are working hard and I thnk they are learning alot but still losing.
i guess i'm a proletariet except that i want to do something in the free agent market.but i still think if we have under 25 losses when dream gets back we still have a great shot at making the playoffs.
Proletariat definately. You can't just tank the season. I wouldn't mind it if we ended up in the lottery, but as long as we put forth effort to win during the season.
