I was going to write Ann Landers a letter, but I thought I would get a better response from the BBS psychologists. My gf convinced me to watch Dancing with Stars with her on each Thursday. I thought what the hell, it should be interesting and funny to see Kenny Mayne, Jerry Rice and Master P. Normally I only see my gf, 3 days a week only. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday,even though we live 2 miles apart. The rest of the week is my time for self actualization, attunement, meditation,working out, working or playing Madden with my buddies. So at first this was crimping into my lifestyle of having to spend an extra day, Thursday, with my g.f. The results show is on Friday, but that is my scheduled day anyway, so it doesnt matter. Ok, back to my dilemma. I agreed to watch the show with her as long as Kenny Mayne, Jerry Rice or Master P were on the show. So after week one, Kenny Maybe was eliminated and I was like, good 1 down, 2 to go. So after a few more weeks Master P was eliminated. So now Jerry Rice remains after today's show. After watching the show over these past few weeks I must secretly admit I kind of like watching the show. I thought it was stupid at first, and thought I would get some good laughs, which I have, but in the recent weeks I have learned more of the finer points and I appreciate what these people are doing. I kind of look forward to the show each week. So if Jerry Rice gets eliminated this next week or soon, do I keep watching the show with her on Thursday, or do I watch it by myself? Also my gf admitted yesterday, that she votes for Jerry Rice the maximum number of times allowed( 6 times) and gets her friends to do the same. This was very funny to me. So a few questions. Is my gf a psycho or am I gay? Should I keep on watching the show with her if Jerry Rice gets eliminated or should I watch it myself? Thanks for reading.
Eh, I know what you mean. I got addicted when Peterman was making his run last year (even posted a thread about it and got derided for it - do a search and you'll find it). I refused to watch it now as I still feel that Peterman got the shaft.
Did i read this correctly? Your GF is voting for him so you'll keep watching it with her? That's pretty cute. When Rice gets voted off, just go one thursday doing what you normally do and see what's more fun.
It takes a big man to admit he enjoys watching pseudo-celebrities prance and dance their way in a competition for televised glory and fame. It takes an even bigger man to laugh at this man.

Dear Psycho or Gay or Dancing Lover Guy, Did you just say your girlfriend agreed to vote the alotted times just so you can keep watching? I think that is SO cute! I think the web is cute. This font I use is cute, too. My keyboard is cute. If this helps your relationship and helps you stay together, I say go for it go for it just like you went for that crappy job you found and maye you will lose soon! You're not psycho, you're accepting that she will wear the pants in your family and you will slowly lose your penis, but at least you will be happy! I am happy for couples who try new things, like eating jalapeños and watching each other go poop afterwards. Your relationship may regain its luster, but maybe because your gayness is showing. Jerry made it!! Jerry made it!!! I really like this show just because I love watching the chicks. And the costumes. And George. And Jerry. And now that Tia's gone they are seriously lacking in hotties. My suggestion for next season is BIG American Breasts as the Festrunk brothers would say. I would really like to see some bigger stars who can dance on the show like Travolta,Swayze,Walken,Pacino,Janet and Jessica Alba.But since they won't, I just hope they get better hotties for next year. And everybody knows you have to have the moves in order to get the ladies, so don't be hating,be participating.
Keep watching with her if/when Rice is eliminated. She obviously wants you to watch with her, and you are enjoying it anyway.
Please don't buy into all that ridiculous "straight men have to act like this" propoganda. The guys that cling to those behaviors are pathetically overcompensating for their own insecurities. Be your own person. If you like something, let yourself enjoy it.
I watch parts of it, but I don't sit through the whole thing. When Stacy is dancing I definately watch. I also like that chick who dances with George "Zorro the gay blade" Hamilton. Well, her face kind of reminds me of Franka Potente from Run Lola Run and the Bourne Identity, but damn, she had a fine ass body. I hope Playboy approaches the real dancers and some of the washed up female celebs to do a Dancing with the Stars spread.
I want to add, I don't think there's anything wrong with anybody who enjoys the whole show. My brother and my sisters watch it and when in the next room I hear my brother go "whoo" or "damn" I know that means Stacy is on and change the channel.
