Guys, I wanted to see if you can help me with this, or lead me to the right contacts regarding this issue.

Windows Live Mail will not let me print a composing email. See screenshot below. It greys out the print option. Is there a way around this?

I want to move all my emailing to WLM because after I download new emails into Outlook, I cannot download them again using a different email client.

I'd like to be able to pull up an old email on any computer, but my Outlook at work prevents me from doing that.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have an answer for your question, but you CAN tell outlook to leave a copy of messages on the server.

Yup. Depending on the type of account. Though I seem to remember some issues with Hotmail/Live accounts and Outlook on that front.

Is there anything in the SUBJECT and the BODY of the message?

Maybe it won't let you print because there's no content. Try just typing a period in the body and then see if the "print" option is available. Or don't go to the File menu and just do Ctrl+P.

I've tried printing with text in the subject and the body, still wouldn't let me print.

    SAVE the email you're editing.

It will go to your drafts. Go to the listings of your "drafts." Right-click it, select "print"... hopefully it's available.

How about re-opening it from the drafts? Can you print it then? It's odd it doesn't let you.

Still... it's a #$)^#@$) email... why would you want to print it...? It defeats the purpose of it being an "email"... should just be a "letter"...
