He's VERY young, has the physical tools, has a consistent fluid jumper, was solid on defense, for a good school

He wasn't a stretch from what you expect out of a lotto pick, his name was just very slept on in all the mock drafts

They were clearly thinking of the HEB commercials.

Primo picks in the HEB wine center...

Hard to imagine they couldn't fall back 10 spots get Primo and a future 2nd at the very least.

Primo can shoot really good and that is something that I'm shocked wasn't zeroed in on it has age. Great wing span too. Solid pick but at 12 given all rankings it is a shocker. Sengun might haunt Spurs for years once he fills out and develops his 3 ball.

My significant other’s brother in SA is a huge Spurs fan. Had great season tickets before the recent unpleasantness that I was able to take advantage of from time to time when they played the Rockets, driving down from Austin. Seeing him Sunday and I’ll ask if he thinks Primo was a primo pick at that spot. It certainly was an enormous (and very welcome) surprise to me.

There is a 100% chance they could have flipped their #12 for the #14 and a second because the Warriors were (and still are) hellbent on grabbing Duarte.

Oh he's only 18. So he might end up being a small forward if he grows a couple more inches

Hes an exceptional defender, and he can shoot. He's a "system fit" and Pops will mold him into exactly what he wants and he will probably be a fixture for the Spurs for a long time.

Gotta indoctrinate the recruits at a young age if you want them to buy into your cult.

He’s very young, has tools, and dominated the combine. Makes sense

This move will either look genius by the spurs or absolutely terrible.

I’ve learned not to double guess Spurs picks, maybe sit this one out lol.
