Maybe he's full of crap, but the guy doesn't have a bad rep on the board. So maybe we should look at this trade more carefully. Personally, I'd LOVE this trade. I don't know HOW we can go wrong with Yao, Steve, and Brand on the same team. And this trade makes perfect sense, so we shouldn't take it too lightly.
Well, if P and Brand are both free agents, and with the clips' awful rep in keeping FA's, then maybe a better way to look at is is: Cat + #5 > #6 (and no Brand or P) Maybe? that way, at least they get *something* for those guys, instead of them just walking and they get zip.
I better pray that I this trade goes down, if not I may have ruin my reputation on this board. This is a rumer! I passed on info that someone did not want posted here. I didn't know that tell after I posted it. So I deleted my topic out of respect. People need to calm down some, this is just a rumer.
I don't think praying will help. NIKEstrad's reasoning is very clear, all but making this specific scenario a near impossibility, especially on draft night itself.
