i dont like the word pretend its almost like saying lets pretend the Astros are better than what we see right now. I would put it as best case scenario that t-mac comes back to elite status, cuz i feel he still can, and that brooks plays well and scola and everybody else. That sounds better.

Pretend? I think its pretty much understood that Tmac is going to come back in the best shape of his life. I'm very excited about it and I predict that he will be in the MVP runnings with Kobe and Lebron at the end of the season. This guy has NEVER worked very hard before and has always been a top 10 or better player in this league. It's clear that Tmac is on a mission.
first of all, mcgrady is not kobe but him as good tmac helps a bunch. but no way to win this year. rockets will struggle to win 30
The only thing that is more ridiculous than pretending McGrady could ever be Kobe is to not recognize Brooks/Lowry is a huge upgrade over Fisher/Farmar/and that other dude.

People on this board are overrating Kobe. He starts to get wins on a loaded team and all of a sudden he is the next MJ. Back when he was struggling to get .500 with kwame brown everyone said they didn't want him for t-mac. If t-mac returns Battier becomes a non-factor and hopefully gets moved by mid-season.
