Who really cares? It's obvious where the president has delegated power and even more obvious as to how badly this has failed, and finally it is most obvious why.
you forgot Office of Faith Based Initiatives. dont know who was in charge but the #2 man (David Kuo) quit and wrote a book about how the office was a sham used by the GOP to garner votes from christians. im not surprized though. karl rove, you sly fox...
surprized the EPA cabinet position still exists i dont think theyll be able to garner many votes from the tree huggers
I guess my thing is. . have they done *anything* significant Dept of Ed. . last I heard from them was No Child Left Behind and all I did was HEAR didn't see much actions I figured maybe something worth something fell under the radar Are these people just holding positions? What do they do on a daily? What initiatives have they pushed? Rocket River
I think there was action -- just talk to a K-12 teacher sometime. No Child Left Behind: Children Left Behind.
No kidding. Ask a Texas teacher what he/she thinks of the testing regimen they've been burdened with, and how they have to teach to the test, skipping subjects you and I had in school, leading to students without a broad foundation of learning. I've talked to teachers who have had "special needs" children in their classes, and yet those children's scores were factored into the class testing results, which, these days, is how a teacher is evaluated. It is a nightmare. D&D. Impeach Goofus and His Buddy.
