MacBeth's history thread made me think of something.... Have any of you history buffs visited any of the Presidential libraries around the country. I've been to a few, and I think they are just fascinating. I enjoy viewing the Presidential notes & papers relating to historical events that took place during that President's term. I also enjoy seeing some of the stuff they accumulated during their terms. The ones I have visited are... LBJ Library - Austin (of course....HOOK EM) Harry Truman Library - Independence MO Ronald Reagan Library - Simi Valley CA Richard Nixon Library - San Clemente CA FDR Library - Hyde Park NY (more like a museum than a library) Haven't been up to College Station yet to see the Bush I library, but I probably will in the near future...I just won't wear any burnt orange! Have any of you visited any of the Presidential libraries and do you enjoy the experience as I do?
