Trump, Kim, and Putin. I wouldn't be surprised if Putin has atleast as much influence on Kim right now, as he does on Trump.

 

He should bring Dennis Rodman with him. Maybe Dennis can act as mediator?

 

I am, all in favor of it. If it just leads to the US not starting a war against North Korea I am also in favor of it.

. It is sort of apropos since Kin and Trump both seem so similar in a crazy way..

 

Something will happen where a meeting will not take place on or before May 31.

 

I can't even imagine Trumpster being the guy to actually solve that situation.

It's one of two things:

1. Kim Jong-Un saw the Stormy Daniels story and wants Trump to hook him up with her

2. Lil Kim thinks Trump is crazier than he is.

 

The Ukrainian, Uzbek and Kazakh dictators want some love too. So does Ergogan and the Gulf princes.

I guess they can have the meeting in Crimea.

 

I think they should be locked in a room, battle to the death. Solve this problem like men. It's a win win.

I seem to remember that Republicans had their panties in a bunch when it was suggested that Obama meet Kim Jong Un. Now that the Useful Bigot wants to meet with him......*crickets*.

 

These comments are not surprising, a sad group indeed.

 

With no diplomats working either NK or SK, and SOS who is obviously out of the loop with the WH and just hours before said “they are far from talking” and Trump being the idiot he is... this has the likelihood of being a complete disaster.

Any president at any time could have just met with Kim Jung. That’s not an accomplishment. They crave that kind of legitimacy. They also would totally do an about face as soon as they met and fire off a ballistic test missile the day after the meeting because that’s what they do.

Of course this could also turn out to be a really really good thing too. If NK gets locked into a peace agreement with a deal to remove sanctions and allow UN inspectors to do routine checks to ensure they behave this would be great for world peace.

However they are not giving up their nuclear program. No way no how. If they say they are agreeing to cap their program either they are playing Trump as a sucker or they already have enough nukes to blow the world up.

Unfortunately I think Trump is walking into a trap here and will look like a fool when Kim Jung butters up Trump and puts on a great show for the world and then we get to see what Trump does when Kim Jung does an about face two days later. That’s what scares me about this. They need a plan and months of diplomacy in place before you can do this.

 

NK has been requesting such a meeting for many years. It wasn't long ago that former President Obama was considering meeting with the NK leader and there was much pushback from republican leaders. Heck, one of them even tweeted:
