President Obama's Cabinet, Who Ya Got?

I have a feeling he might keep Robert Gates as Secretary of Defense.

 

I have no idea who he will pick. I just want him to pick people who will do a great job, god do we need that instead of reward party loyalty.

 

Ron Paul for secretary of the treasury.

 

Yes, seriously. He talked about keeping Gates during election.

Wouldn't it be funny if Powell is the Secretary of State again.

 

Collin Powel for Defense or State or possibly HLS.

 

Bill Richardson will get something in that cabinet I would imagine.

 

I would like to demote gates, because of his iran contra affiliation, and put him in as my secretary of agriculture. I mean, in those years spent in aggieville, something had to stick!

I would also like to appoint bill richardson as my secretary of state.

I also want someone of integrity filling up my roster at the attorney general position. It seems like not long ago, infidel gonzales was stinking up the place.

 

There is talk about Kerry as the Secretary of State, and there might be a job for his old pal Deval, maybe as AG.

 

Whether she'd take it or not, he should offer the Attorney General spot to Hillary Clinton.

 

Maybe a Supreme Court Justice but AG?

Colin Powell will be offered a position in the cabinet. It is just a matter of if he takes it. Honestly he is the perfect man for politics, because he hates politics. He just wants to help people and grow America. Too bad people like him don't tend to run for office because they hate the politicing.

 

I suspect President-Elect Obama will roll it out in a systematic fashion with an emphasis on financial and foreign affairs positions.

I have a suspicion the cabinet will not look like conventional wisdom suggests.

 

Biden was a pretty conventional choice.

I think Colin Powell, happy with his October surprise, will return to his Volvo garage for a quiet retirement.
