It is over, Obama will win, it is time to start looking ahead to what President Obama will do in office.

I look for him to restore our status in the World order and to bring stability to America.

Hopefully, he will spend wisely, and cut spending judiciously.......but.....it is over.

Obama ---- Hail to the Chief.

This thing is over....McCain is the sacrificial lamb, and the racists are going to have to deal with an African American in the White House.

This is a huge step forward for America...HUGE !!

Just wish Tupac were here to see it.

Its still a little hard to fathom.

Dont think I'll fully believe it until it is official.

I think his highest priority has to be to get really good, competent people on board right away. There is too much crap to clean up for him to focus on everything that would normally call for Presidential attention.

That said, I hope he goes big ASAP. Fundamental changes are what we need in a lot of areas, and I don't want him wasting his 100 days dicking around trying to fix all the things Bush screwed up... there will be time for those later. He needs to have a plan for Congress to enact on the economy and Iraq and energy/climate change and he needs to bring the Presidency back to a Constitutional equilibrium and implement measures that would make the Bush administration overreaches more difficult to repeat.

I just hope he doesn't really paint the White House black like Ludacris wants to. That would be really hot in the summer and be a b**** to paint back to white in 2012.

And why Tupac? Wouldn't it be better for MLK to have seen this?

    (IF it happens... IF.)

As for the M.C. Breed video... Better use of the beat? EPMD!

    After Bush won office again.

Damn, I made it sound like Stalin is still alive. But yeah, Kerry got the popular vote and still lost.

    Sorry for the double post.

Kerry did not win the popular vote. Bush had 3 million more popular votes than Kerry did.

...typical Obama supporter... let me guess -- new to politics?

If being wrong was a disqualification for anything you'd have been banned from this site (and probably all others) six years ago.

Also, we need people who are new to politics. Everyone in this country should take an interest and vote.

He was talking about Gore. So what? The point is the candidate won the popular vote and still lost the election. You obviously missed the point. Typical reaction from TJ.

Screw that. I wish Martin Luther King and Malcolm X were here to see it.

What do I expect from President Obama?

    --an economic rebound
--an end to the war in Iraq
--restored respect for the USA throughout the world.

Dubya was the Republican Jimmy Carter. He has ruined the Republican brand.

Obama will be the Democrat Ronald Reagan. The Dems will be in power for quite a while.

    "--an economic rebound
--an end to the war in Iraq"

wow, a bold prediction. these things would happen no matter who the president is. But the sheeple will label obama as the one who did these things.

BUt mostly i expect bigger govt, a more socialized society and a target to be painted on large business...because they are the bad guys after all (eyeroll).
    God bless america, comrades

I believe that Obama wouldn't call himself 'President' until after the election.
