So...anyone going to see The President tomorrow in Sugar Land?
He's going to be rallying for Shelly Sekula-Gibbs who is running for Congress in Fort Bend County.

I'll be there...I've never seen a Prez in person so it should be pretty cool.
I'm actually working...but will be there.

Her "political ad" was hilarious with all the directions it gives on how to write her in. Then some awful voice sings "vote Shelly Sekula Gibbs" twice.

    lol

I've gotten several stupid attack ads against Lampson in my mailbox the last few days. If those things actually motivate people to vote we are in big trouble as a country.

I heard they have a 500 foot statue of every single republican ever in Sugar Land. And each of them are all worhipped as GODS. Is that just a rumor?

I've yet to see a sitting president in person. Even if I disagreed with one's politics, I'd still love to have an opportunity.

The only reason I would go would be to protest.

I've seen the President in person before. He's really not that exciting, just smiles a lot and bobs his head back and forth...

On the other hand, Chris Bell is going to be in Waco tomorrow, I think I'll check that out and see what the dude says.

That dude is slimy. Reminds me of every politician (R and D) that I've ever met. He talks right through you and pretty much ignores whatever you say. If he weren't so slimy, he'd have a chance to take down Perry.

I guess that's a reason for not seeing a president in person. You keep some of the mystique surrounding the office as opposed to being disappointed.

I met the President while he was governor. He's a congenial guy, seems genuinely friendly, albeit a bit aloof. Kinky's friendlier, though. (Never met Chris Bell.)

When/Where is this happening? I would really like to go. I've met his dad before on a few occasions, but I've never seen W in person. He's a hero of mine, so it would be cool to see him. Thanks!
