From what I have noticed since the preseason has started

Steve F. = Has a improved team concept, he seems to really want to win NOW.

Cutino M. = He still needs to learn how to pass, Try's to take everyone on one on one.

Cato. = He has butter fingers. He is on one game off the next two. Bring on Ming!!!!

Kenny T. = He has cutino syndrome. Will NOT pass the ball. He is very good though at taking it to the hole.

Griff. = He is gaining cofidence with every game. He is just a awsome defender. Should start everygame, we have enough scorers on the court need the D.

Maurice T. = He is a very good scoring PF but still does not look 100%.

TMO. = Has been the biggest surprise of the preseason but now is out 2 weeks could hurt his chances at getting minutes in the beginning of the season.

Tiere B. = Has looked like a very energetic spark plug off the bench

Mooch. = Looks like the mooch of 2 years ago. Thank god the pinky injury was on his NON shooting hand.

Ming. = He is the mystery. I believe he will blend in nicely but will hit the rooky wall because he has not had any summer to rest for such long season.

Torres. = Looks just like he did last year at this time. I hope he do's not disapear at the end of the year like last year..

Nachbar. = He looks like he is getting much more comfortable with the team I believe he will be like Griff and come on in the second half on the season..

Rice. = Looks to have his shot back but can not keep up with fast 3's in the league.

Thats all I have for now

    Steve- Yes.

Cat- No, not really. I've heard good reports on Cat when they are running the new offense.

    Cato- Absolutely yes.

K9- See Cat. Kenny is trying to keep himself on the floor and doing a damned good job.

    Griffster- Agree!

MoT- I'm keenly interested in how he'll be used this year. If he's truly healthy and gets in great shape we may finally see the player I assume RT and CD thought they were getting. They definitely see something in Taylor. I'm eager to see what that is.

Terence- Wow. Remember this when Nachbar struggles. Morris would have been traded for a box of Cocoa Rice Krispies not long ago.

    Tierre- Yeah, ok.

Moochie- I can't imagine that he weighed 235 at this time last season. I'm looking for an improved Mooch.

Yao- I think he'll be an impact player this season. He may struggle at first, but I'm looking for him to show flashes of brilliance and steady contribution.

Torres- Appears to have the tools to be a great role player. Hope he's more consistent.

Nachbar- May not get as many minutes as I thought this year because of Morris. He's obviously still hurting from his surgery.

Rice- Hope he's healthy. Anything from him is a bonus. He might have some high scoring games if he can shake off the rust.

My humble opinion at the moment. You post a lot, don't you.
    :)

Do not read the reports on Kenny or Cat because if you have watched the games you would of noticed that they both are forcing the action and comiting the TO. Everytime they turn it over there is somebody screaming at them to PASSSSSS the damn ball. I hope cutino pulls a stackhouse and becomes more team oriented. Don't get me wrong I love there intensity they are just to selfish.

I normally just read the boards taking everything in but I am getting really exited about this team and I can NO longer hold myself back

Duck, I disagree about Mobley. I feel that he is buying into the concept of team play. Sure, there are times when he feels the need to do it on his own, but those times are few and far between, compared to last year. He is making the transition. We cant expect him to never want to make a play for himself. After all, he is a star in this league. Look at the 3 games he has played in:

    game 1: 6-13 shooting
    game 2: 9-12 shooting
    game 3: 3-7 shooting

If he was shooting 22 shots a game in the preseason, then I would use the term "selfish". But, I just dont see how shooting 11 times a game can be considered selfish. Specially if he is shooting 56% from the field. I think he and stevie want to win now and that their accolades are less important than in previous years.

    Rezdog,

How many minutes? I have not looked at the boxes, but if he is only playing 20 minutes, that works out to around 20 shots in regular minutes.

I think Boki may start the season on the developmental list?, or whatever the IR is now called. Could be that TMo's injury saves him a seat.
