I got the first pick in my money 12 team league. I am pretty much convinced there is no distinguishing between those first three backs and would be just as happy with any of them, and by improving my second round pick I would have two players on the board who wouldn't be there if I stay where i am in the second. Would you consider this trade; I floated it to the guy at three this morning and while specific terms weren't discussed he seemed receptive. Would you do it just the way it is stated here or would you ask for more?
I would do it if for no other reason than to say: "I would've drafted (SA/LJ/LT, whoever is left) at number one, and am ecstatic that he fell this far!" but yeah, the deal is fine as is.
I would do it in a heartbeat. Would you guys have done this in a 12-team league? The 5th and 20th picks for the 12th and 13th? I didn't and ended up with SJax and Steve Smith while the 12th and 13th picks were C. Johnson/Gates. I'm glad I did not do that in hindsight, but I was really tempted at the draft.
I'd take LJ #1 and never look back. LT has shown some injury problems and now that brees is gone, defenses can focus more on the run. Sean Alexander is on the cover of madden, we know what that means. eek Take Larry Johnson.
I might've, but i would have liked to see who was on the board at 12 and 13, RB5 vs. Rb12 this year may not be as big a drop off as in previous years, you can basically lump them all in together as far as projected productivity. I would not have gone WR TE at 12 and 13 tho, I would have grabbed at least one back in that situation. I belive I pulled the WR WR move a few years back in SMeg's league and suffered through trying to find production from the RB slot all year. You have to have production there, that is a case of getting too cute IMO.
