Time to start thinking positively.. what is everyone's prediction on when the Rockets will hit the .500 mark? They are 20-30 now. I think they'll reach .500 at 34-34 and squeeze their way into the playoffs.
There's a lot of punks on here lately. I don't know what's going on around here, maybe you are a bunch of followers who are trying to out-cute the next kid, I don't know and don't care but if you have been around here long enough you know better. That thread you mentioned was created two months ago. So you have no right to gripe. I'm not picking on you because you are a good poster here but dude don't tell someone to not post a thread just because the same question was asked two months ago. about the thread subject. I think sometime around mid-march the Rockets will be at the .500 mark. Last year the came out of the all-star break and lost a little swagger with Sura being out a few games around that time I think but I think this year the Rockets will go into the playoffs on a high note and come out even stronger. March will be the month where they either make their final push or take their final blow.
Reaching .500 before 40 wins (or losses) requires a miraculous record like 15-5, or more realistically 17-7 or 18-8.

Well, if we win today, we will have gone 6-1 over the last 7 games. That's a pretty good start, although I really wish we would have beaten LA. The last few weeks have been brutal on my Rockets heart. Every time we win, I think "OK, here we go. We're on our way" Then we lose and I think the season is over. It's like helter skelter.
36-36 has to be the target. That would put them at .500 going into April with a 6-game road trip on schedule against pretty much every team they're competing with for that 8th spot. Anything less than .500 by the end of March and it'll be almost impossible to make the playoffs(barring all the teams ahead of the Rockets playing like crap the next two months).
Sometime in early April. They got a rough schedule coming up but I think they can atleast stay .500 in their next 10 games and get the "easy" wins in their schedule in March, and finish strong in April, pending that they stay healthy.
If we can not get into playoff,the loss to Lake will be a bigest reason. Otherwise we only 4 games difference to fake now. man, what a loss......
35-35 after win over Cleveland at home on March 26th. If it happens before that, it has to be considered a minor miracle. We will finish the season in a 8-2 run to get 44-38. #8 seed is possible but not certain.
good post. the rockets didn't even look like they would even reach .300 when that question was asked. now a lot of things have changed. it's one thing if theres another thread on the same page (visible). who the crap is going to go dig up a 2 month thread.
