    I believe with Ming being in Houston at the C pos. Francis wont need to get 7 rebounds a game, allowing him to get 2 or 3 more asists.

    I feel Francis stats next year will look like this:

    PPG= Points per game
    RPG= Rebounds per game
    APG= Asists per game
    SPG= Steal per game
    TPG= Turnovers per game

    PPG: 21.2 RPG: 3.6 APG: 8.7 SPG: 1.6 TPG: 1.7

    this is my oppinion, what do you feel francis will be getting next season? if he stays healthy and ming plays good and so on.

    I think you underestimate things sometimes.

    His turnovers won't be that low. Not even Kidd is that effecient. He'll be around 2.5 to 2.7 turnovers.

    If he only had 3 assist you would have to get a new point guard. He should average aroumd 7 apg. If he does that and every thing else you say he will be excellent.

    :D :D :D :D :D

    If I am not mistaken, I believe that Francis will set an all-time NBA record if he averages 8.7 steals a game.

    It's not 8.7 steals, it's 8.7 assists and 1.6 steals. I think your predicted assists are too high and rebounds too low. His numbers will likely be around 5.5 rebounds and 7+ assists.

    A lot of posters are not thinking ,IMHO about the need for Stevie to do his job as Point Guard next season, thus making everyone better in TEAM Basketball and an end to Dribble Mania!!
    Francis 2002/2003 Season Ave
    15pts/gm
    3rbs/gm
    10ast/gm
    3.75st/gm FT 85%
    Starting PG on the West All Star Team

    His points and rebounds are down because he has scorers and plenty of big men to rebound! His defence should improve as he will not have to concentrate on scoring as much as in previous years. A great Point Guard on a great Team .

    for a guy that is a francis fan, you're underestimating and overestimating the guy. francis has been a solid 5+ rpg guy and i highly doubt he can manage to get 7 assists a game.

    PPG: 20
    RPG: 6
    APG: 6
    SPG: 1.5
    TPG: 2.5

    Im just saying he will have no need to get that many boards when Ming is in there. I say rebounds go down, asists go up. I think that would only make sense.
