Just found I was promoted from a Rookie to a Member, So here's the first thread I start: to predict Rockets' games in the rest of the season, after factoring in the strength of the schedules and assuming Yao starts regaining his dominance in March, and there're no more injuries. Jan: 5W 9L Feb: 6W 6L March: 11W 5L April: 7W 2L So Rockets enter playoff with 48W 34L, but at the end of the regular season, Rockets will be at the peak of their strength and go deep in the playoff.
first, congrats on your membership!!! second, i think your prediction is about right, its depressing to know that it could be so much better if yao hasnt gone down with the knee injury, but with t-mac back were gonna be just fine... id like to see 51-31!
we usually go month by month with prediction threads. it's just so hard to predict more than a few weeks into the future with injuries and trades. but anyway, since this is your first thread, i'll bite: JAN: 7-7 FEB: 9-3 MAR: 11-5 APR: 7-2
barring another major injury i feel your predictions are very stingy. as long as t-mac stays healthy i feel we should be at least .500 until yao comes back.
