I personally think Torres will get deported. Or we will have to fire the new marketing director for lying on his resume, a la O'Leary.

Two more players get injured so the Rockets are down to only five and they have to petition the league to be allowed to sign 1 so that they can have the minimum required of 8 available for a game.

Honestly, that doesn't seem that far fetched.

Every single Houston Rocket is diagnosed with sickle cell anemia, with the exception of Dan Langhi and Jason Collier.

Cuttino's ankles will finally give, and he will go on the injured list.

I bet hazardous waste is found on the site for the new arena and completion will be delayed and the Rockets will have to share the Summit with Lakewood Church!

Salary cap violation, career ending injury, a certain Wizard getting traded. None of these would suprise me at this point.

The worst thing for me would be if Sir Charles decided to unretire to play for the Rockets.

That's funny because Enron Field actually won the city an award because it was built on what was one of the largest urban brown-fields (contaminated soil) in America. They had to remove nearly 12 feet of contaminated soil from the site before they could begin building.

Willis has been taking steroids; it wasn't his pee passing the drug test

    ...so...

Cato tries to play for him and falls on the court and ruptures something in his wrist

    ...so...

When Cato falls his head smacks right on Kenny's balls

    ...so...

Kenny aggravates his groin so bad he is out for 4-6 weeks

    ...so...

Eddie starts, and gets into a fistfight with Terrance Morris after a bad shooting night

    ...so...

Eddie & Terrance are suspended and fined

    ...so...

the hot-shooting Oscar has consecutive games of 42, 45, & 51-point nights. noting his play, several sites and mags do stories on him. digging out all their background info, they uncover that...

    Torres is an illegal immigrant

    ...so...

Rudy falls into a deep deprssion and quits

    ...so...

Cuttino feels so bad for Rudy he takes a leave of absence to care for him. as he is walking out of rudy's house one day, he slips on the steps and breaks both ankles

    ...so...

we are left with a startiong lineup of:

    Collier
    Taylor
    Langhi
    CBAer
    Brown

    ...so...

we end the season 7-75 and slip to the 4th pick.

Les Alexander sells the Rockets back to Mickey Herskowitz. We have to read daily reminisces for the rest of the year in the Chronicle about the first time he owned the team, how much the ownership business has changed in 30+ years, and how great the Southwest Conference used to be in the fifties.
