Great, maybe he can bring in Rick Brunson as backup PG.

If we had JVG, we'd sign all the former Knicks instead of former Rockets.

Mitchell Wiggins, so there can be a father and son playing in the league together.

the thing about it is in those post tmac-yao seasons with no superstar, the rockets had a pretty solid squad with only a center missing and a closer. so a lot of those players who keep coming back around are great pieces to build a championship team with.

    Could be Ray Allen:

Veteran guard Ray Allen has reportedly spoken with the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Miami Heat, however, remain in the dark about his playing future.

Coach Erik Spoelstra said he has yet to speak with Allen about possibly returning to Miami for another season.

"We knew that he wanted to take some time and be patient to see where he is," Spoelstra said. "We'll see what happens. I don't even know where we'll be with our roster, but we owe a lot to Ray."

Allen has been linked with joining LeBron James in Cleveland while also mulling retirement. This would be the 19th season for Allen, 39, if he continues to play. He is expected to take his time before making a decision.

"If he needs time, we'll give him that space and time," Spoelstra said.

Just read the thread; thought it read free agent instead of former Rocket. Sorry
