With no major moves being made before the deadline (which is probably likely). What seed do you think the Rockets start the playoffs in? I think our defense prevents a top 4 finish in the West and we end up 6th. I know it's early and there are a lot of games left but thought we should try to talk about something other than the last cpl of games we played. What do you think?
5th. But it doesn't really matter. Once CP3 is back in shape, Capela is back, plus hopefully a trade to get us an impact player, we will TURN IT ON IN THE PLAYOFFS AND WIN IT ALL! GO ROCKETS!
I say 3rd seed. But who's to say we won't go on a giant streak and end up in the first seed? Eternal optimism is always more fun. And as an aside I do believe that the Rockets will make a move at the deadline. As for what it is... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
49-33 6th that's an optimistic scenario. If we can't solve the problem of strikers. We can only win 45 games.
Our midfielders could use some work too. Once our goalie comes back we should be in better shape though I still say we get to 50+, but if we don't I won't be surprised. As long as the roster is more balanced and ready going into the playoffs, we should be poised to make some noise. MAKE IT HAPPEN, MOREY!
Right now, a playoff seed is the least of the Rocket's problems. They need to start playing better as a team, get healthy, play defense, and hit a shot or two. Right now, they aren't a serious contender.
Lets keep in mind the 95 championship team was 6th in seeding and won because the team cam together going into the playoffs
I think our defense prevents a top 4 finish as well, UNLESS we fix that situation before the trade deadline. The anticipation is killing me as to what Morey can pull off before the deadline. Not only is our defense horrible, but there are too many teams above us that have way more high % 3 PT shooters, which puts us in a disadvantage trying to have a shootout with them like we did last night with Denver.
Obvious that the universe is in parallels. They think we shoulda won last year as first seed. So after the last time we won, we won it again as the 6th seed after trading for a wing from Houston at the deadline. So jimmy butler and the 6th seed. Or maybe that’s means Danuel House and the 6th seed.
