    Pg- Alston
    Sg- Tmac
    SF- Battier
    PF- Scola
    C- Center

    58-24

i just highly doubt that we'll go out there and get a mike miller or a ron artest. I think it'll be what "if" last years team was healthy what could we have done and they'll go with that. Hopefully we can trade Bobby's expiring contract and can free up some room. Also bob sura's contract is finally off the books after this season.

Tmac only has two more seasons left in his big contract, he'll be making 21mil next year and 23 the year after, then we'll be able to sign a big time super star

Naming Yao as the starting center for next year is too much of a reach?

Lol. Next year, if we have better officials, Yao and Mcgrady will get better calls. Especially Yao, if he gets the calls he deserve, he is really really dominant.

Of course at the same time, if the officating was better, Jazz will be 20-50 for a long time.

If we made no changes then it should be pretty straight forward: Rafer, Tracy, Shane, Luis, and Yao. I still expect them to try to upgrade at PG like they tried last year and I wouldn't be surprised if the moved Shane either.

I'm thinking of a package we can get for Battier..how about Hinrich + Nocioni + Gordon for him + head, picks,Bjax? Then I'll go for Diop for Yao's backup and get another scoring big SG at the draft..

I think we will have at least one big trade... by big I mean someone who is either starter or 6th man. Someone like Andre Miller, Mike Miller, Kirk Heinrich, Ron Artest, Corey Maggette etc.

But I also kinda agree... if we`d been healthy we would have won this series. And next year the players will be comfortable playing in RA offense. So the key to our success is health.

For some reason, I think this team can win (in the regular season and a little in playoffs) without the superstars....I think we need to make one move and see who is out there or are willing to come to Houston.

    Positives:
    ------------------------------------
    Scola will probably get better.
    Landry as well.
Houston probably will make a concerted effort to bring a decent pg.
    Great Defense and Improving Offense
At full strength, I believe are now the best team in the West, outside of San Antonio. Phoenix and Dallas have went out and comitted utter suicide. With Yao, we can domnate both NO and LA.

    Negatives
    -----------------------
Health of Yao (but I don't think he will have anymore serious injuries, because most of the surgeries go well and he has had similar problems as Zydranus Illglauskus....and big Z recovered after about 3 seasons...and has missed very few games over the last 6 years.

the starting lineup concerns me much less than our bench. any lineup with yao and tmac (healthy) is a force. however, any bench fielding luther head as the 2-guard is doomed to failure. we need to shore up backup center and backup swingman then i feel good about our chances.
