After 20 years of battling with Parkinson's disease, my grandmother's suffering finally ended today. This morning I went to the store to get some of her favorite Häagen-Dazs raspberry sorbet, one of the few things she was able to eat in the past few weeks. She had 3oz. with her medication just before she went to sleep for the last time. She was a month shy of her 89th birthday. Hopefully she is now with her dear husband in heaven. RIP Lillian Trapp.
RIP....prayers are with you and your family....one good thing is that she was able to rest peacfully and enjoy the one thing she liked.
RIP. At least she went peacefully and lived a long life. Some people don't get those luxuries. I hope everyone in the family is able to cope with the loss. Truly sad...
as sad as that is, the ice cream thing made me smile a little bit. very touching. peace to her and your family.
