Many BBS members here are staying in the Houston area to ride out this devastating hurricane. Almost all of us here have friends, family, and loved ones who could potentially be impacted by Rita. For those of you who are religious, please join me in a prayer for God's mercy from this storm. Regardless of what you believe in or who you worship, I figure we can all join in together to pray. May God protect us and those we love and care about. May God protect our belongings and our assets. May God ease the impact of this storm and may God ease the suffering as a result. May God give strength to those who are impacted and may God strengthen their faith and resolve. May God shelter us with His eternal mercy. May God bless the great city of Houston and its surrounding areas and may God bless each one of us. Amen.
