What a bizarre series of events. It sounds like Officer Christman really had no choice. Perhaps he can take some solace in that.
Sat next to and talked with Off. Christman this morning. He seems to be doing okay. He did what had to be done and most likely saved innocent lives in the process. The wreck seems to have been an attempt at suicide. I guess the gun was to finish the job off if the wreck was not sufficiently devastating. A paramed we know was first on the scene and had gone for the neck brace when all hell broke loose.
