Happened in the Kemah area as well. Also, no street lights working all the way in. Ridiculous.

Power was out in (my part of) Missouri City yesterday from about 6:30-9:00am and again from 7:00-8:00am this morning. Almost seems like it was planned.

We have very little water pressure. Electricity is good though.

Rolling blackouts state wide. Expect outages to last 7-45 minuets per Austin news this morning.

Since this is the Power outage thread, BTW, I haven't slept since 2am. (I've been sick for 2 days) and didn't notice any blackouts in Baytown. went to the gym and they had power. I'm in the office and we have power. Odd isn't it.

I hear there is a Blackout Schedule somewhere.

Anyone else hear about this? Where can you see it?

Lost power in the Westchase District for about 20 minutes, but everything seems to be fine now. Rolling outages.

People without power for an hour or more are not part of rolling outages. The rolling outages are only supposed to last around 15-20 minutes. No matter the outage, you should call the electric company instead of sitting there thinking "this is probably part of a planned outage". You may want to have emergency numbers handy before the power goes out, and that includes the electric/gas, phone, etc. companies' numbers.

can't we just call 311 and have them forward the call?

I havent even started my work day!

Power went out at 6:30am then went back on 7am at home. I drive to work and all of traffic lights are not working so I spend 30 minutes in the car. I get to work and no power. I wait 30 minutes then it comes back on but no internet. I was like fack this! I went home and the power goes out and now it is back on. It was a bit cold in the house so I had to upper the heater. I know they said for us to minimize the electricity use but dang, it is COLD! So far the heater and my laptop are sucking up the electricity.

    What a morning!

Should we expect outages periodically through today? Let's see how much work I can get done today.
