I think J Howard just needs to be more aggressive
and look for his shot more

He is not as Swift as Swift
    but
he plays solid if not spectacular Defense
    he rebounds well
    and
    he ain't stupid

I think he could be out 3rd scorer
HE IS A CAREER 17 and 9 guy!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we need to focus on utilizing him more
    than simply HOPING on swift

    Rocket River
He still stupid for putting the ball in ole boy's face though

I just don't think Howard can be aggressive.

He's old and slow attributes that are not really suited for aggressive styles of play.

When he was traded here to with T-mac, he was ultimately our 3rd scorer. He put up pretty good numbers back in Orlando (17pts, 7 bds and 2 assists). Then again...he got a LOT of touches cause t-mac had his back spasms too. I'm a big swift fan and all, but I'll admit it...JuHow's gonna need the ball a lot more. We needed him in the playoffs, and we need him even more now to get back into playoff contention.

It kinda showed how bad we needed him after he left because Villanueva and Bosh lit us up. Swift just won't do against those high offense caliber guys.

Bottom line...since Yao is out, Juwan's gotta be our 2nd scorer. Not Wesley. Please step it up Juwan!!!

Except for last night's stupidity, JH has indeed stepped it up since Yao went down. Some call it stat padding. We need him to be more consistent on offense from here on and to hit his stride like last year. He's had some pretty bad games though and we can't afford that with Stro as the backup.

    Memo to JH:
1 Keep your head screwed on.
    2 Hit the jumper.
    3 Hit the jump hook.
    4 Get some rebounds.

One thing is for sure and thats that Howard is with this team for the long haul. If any of our power forwards get traded it will be SWift. Truely at this moment I would trade Swift for a servicable bigman and a shooter. Anyone else think we have a trade brewing no one knows about? Go Rockets!!!

His timing was bad. If we had all our players playing at full strength, and if we we over 500, I could understand it a little more.

On a related note, a second memo should be addressed to Lonny Baxter telling him something along the lines, "This is your chance to prove you're worth holding onto with Juwan out a game. This is your chance to prove you're more than just a traveling scrub whose only use is to occupy a roster spot for emergency situations."
