The airline I'm going to use does not have a power source for small electronics like DVD players, laptops, PSP, etc. in their cabin.

What is the best thing to get to keep small electronics from losing power in the air. It's a 12 hour flight. Are "mini-generators" any good?

Are you sure they don't have power? Most airlines have old cigerette plug ins...I have a power inverter that I got at Academy that lets you plug into that outlet and have 2 normal things plugged in.....been using it for 7 years now....

wow, not sure who you've been flying.. very few airlines still have those old cigarette plugins. The new aircrafts are designed for no smoking.. so no use for those.

fly continental- they have actual power outlets, no converter needed. (on most long-haul flights)

just checked.. American Airlines is the only airline that still has cigarette lighter power on their planes (at least in economy class)--and even then, that's only on some of their domestic flights (and all of their international ones)

well, a few Air Canada flights, too.. but that's it.

Reading takes up too little time. I've tried it before, and after feeling tired of reading, I look up and only an hour's gone by.

Besides, I hate reading. Except for clutchfans. ahh modernism
