    Time to go to war.

Iraq is screwed, but they only have themselves to blaim.

Ought to be interesting when Blitz goes to speak with them. That's when a whole bunch of new excuses are going to pop out.

Did we totally screw some of our intelligence gathering abilities?

Some analysts said, e.g., we will never see the same telltale signs of a biological/chemical weapons facility.

    Interesting poll.

And this is why they wanted to wait until troops are in place to reveal it. Also, some of the damning communications and photos could only be had by restarting inspections. They got a lot of this stuff only after inspections started again.

I thought I heard the other day that we are almost ready.

Powell made a great presentation. Iraq has buried itself. We had it on at work and I got a free 1.5hrs off ;)

Yea...that's all they can say because they have no proof to prove otherwise. Some members of the UN want to delay the inevitable. They think the inspectors are detectives who must find the WoMD without cooperation from Iraq. I say that is utter BS. The longer we wait...the more in jeopardy we are with these WoMD getting into the wrong hands and being used against anyone. Britain already had their Ricin scare. As far as I'm concerned, these other countries with their "nothing to lose" attitude can crawl away. They just don't want to face up to what is really going on and they just don't want war. Well, Iraq has had umpteen million chances to avoid war and they have made their choice...WoMD over peace.

Now, we must clean up the mess...unfortunately. France and Russia can continue to bury their collective heads in the sand. Again, this is not the job of weapons inspectors to find the WoMD. They are there to assist Iraq who must cooperatively aid in giving up all material/WoMD, destroy these materials/weapons, and put in place mechanisms to prevent future proliferation.

Iraq has not done squat to fulfill their obligations and, unfortunately, many bad people and innocents will die for the actions of a single dictator. As much as I hate the prospects of war and innocents dying, I hate the repurcussions of not acting even worse. People want to believe there will be no threat...but they are just fooling themselves. This threat is as real as anything on Earth.

    This game is over.

Dido. The burden of proof is on Iraq. They have resisted their responsibility to prove the United States they have disarmed.

How much evidence was given regarding the link between Iraq and Al-Qaeda?
