Exactly, but notice now how the Russian rep. has gone back to chattering about inspections! A reading of 1441 clearly shows that it is NOT about inspections, yet they don't want to deal with that little fact.
yeah for some reason that important little fact keeps getting forgotten and it really pisses me off. i've been getting more and more mad with people who want to keep waiting and inspecting and "give peace chance" (as if haven't already been doing that for years). they don't pay attention to important stuff like this and basically it means that 1441 is useless, and any UN resolution, if every nation in the world won't hold iraq to what the resolution said.
Well, this is the last chance for these guys to come on board. I really believe by Monday it will be on, with or without UN or NATO endorsement. But I heard part of his speech at lunch and I loved it.
I just watched the beginning of Powell. It looked to me like he was pleading. Also looked like an ex-general starting to get a little upset since the troops were not snapping to his orders. I guess he gets used to the royal soft ball treatment from the US press, who always portray Powell as a virtual saint. Oh well, I've got it taped. Taped it and the French guy to watch later with my wife and son for Valentine's day. Maybe I'll turn into a Gulf War II loving guy after watching Powell's performance after I view it, but I doubt it.

I think we will hit in the next 2 weeks, barring some miracle... Almost have a 150,000 troops over there, the minimum force needed.
Great picture sonny. I guess "old Europe" is feeling pretty pleased this morning. This is the guy who practically got in a shouting match with Donald "Strangleove" Rumsfeld a few days ago. I wish I could capture the frame of Powell frowning when Blix specifically nixed some of Powell's show and tell from the other day.
Of course he was pleading - they are ignoring the language OF THEIR OWN DAMN RESOLUTION! The UN is a joke. Keep UNICEF, UNESCO, etc. & rework the (non-existant) security apparatus. As Rwanda, Kosovo, Bosnia (Srebrenica), etc have shown - it's useless...
