Man, I feel for the guy. Good Kid and this summer should be his payday. Now, he'll probably not have a contract until he recovers.

But I have no sympathy for the Celtics. I hope the Bulls gear up and kick the Celtics asses out of 1st round.

Yeah Powe is a solid bench player. He plays with a lot of passion. Doesn't seem like a dbag like some of the other C's (Pierce, Perkins).

what i posted where it was first talked about in the other thread:

can't say it's unexpected, though. That's why he fell so far in the draft...huge questions about his durability after the issues in college

So yeah.. i don't know. If Kenyon Martin went down for the Nets during a playoff run, I wouldn't have felt terrible for them either. I mean it sucks, but that's the risk you take

Powe was the reason last year that the Celtics stayed in the game when we were going for 23 in a row. He had like 12 points in the second quarter when we were starting to pull away.

Damn, that's a big blow to the C's. The Celtics aren't really having a good post season anyway though, I don't think they were going to go anywhere without KG. Rondo is banged up now too, it was a bad ending to a pretty good year for them.

Powe is a tough dude. He didn't even want to leave the game. He's a warrior. He is pretty much like our Carl Landry as somebody else said above. Although this is an old thread/news I like Powe a lot and I don't get why people keep calling this guy a bum.

Nobody on this forum, but a lot of haters do. Like he would have no job in the league if it weren't for the big three. That B.S ya dig?
