I would love him back, but I think he still hates us for trading him. Last year was a joke how he just blew us off and went to Minnesota. Didn't flourish there but i think he can under Adelman.

At least its an upgrade over Rafer.

add james drop howard is a win-win in my book...

you could probably actively shop rafer for whatever package you could get at that point...

I could care less about bringing Mike James, realistically we have Snyder, Wells, Vspartan and Head to fill in the void. What this team really needs is a PF and i would trade Juwan, Sura(expiring contract) and Jtsak for anyone whose got potential to contribute for the cause!

Solid profile. Howard for James makes too much sense to happen, probably.

lets just hope that the wolves don't add another big in the draft.

if they do, i'm afraid they won't have room/need for howard. hopefully they draft a wing player and are forced to move a player from the backcourt (james).

im not much of a rafer fan, but say no to mike james.

why would we want him if he screwed us last year?

thats just like taking your ex back after she told you she wanted you but ended up with somebody else.

I read somewhere (one of the members here) that he can choose to drop it, if he wants to. If James really wants to come to Houston, he drops the trade kicker. Personally, I think a 2nd round pick from Minnesota wouldn't be out of line, either. We'd be taking on a longer contract, and they really want to get rid of James, IMO.

Juwan Howard for Mike James would be perfect. We need a consistent shooter at the point, and Rafer doesn't bring that, but James does.

Also, Clutch, You are amazing at jersey switches and how ever you did this one.

i would want james, only if we can move tracy to sf, which means we would have to move battier to another team or to the pf. hopefully... rick, can somehow make battier successful at the pf. somehow...

I dunno why all the mike james love. he didn't play that much for us except in the post season, he is undersized, and he shunned us for minnesota! I think they are better prospects out there.

I think it would be allright, even if you dont see him as a starter. I believe he can be the same type of player Bobby Jackson was for the Kings. Instant offense and a scrappy defensive player off the bench.

I would want James if he replaces Rafer at the PG position. I'm not sure about him being our starting 2 guard though, since he is so undersized.

james had a bad year. it should be jho for james+their 2nd round pick.

going by morey's record, ie the battier-gay trade. this would probably cost the rockets their first round pick. hopefully he has learnt from that.
