Potential Embarassment for the Rockets Organization

    If the Spurs win the championship than this will
    be near the ultimate embarassment for the Rockets organization.
    The Rockets had 2 championships to the Spurs ZERO.

    Then through some bad drafts, questionable player acquisitions and departures, the Rockets are in the dry spell that they are now in.

    Back in the 90s the Rockets were the ELITE team in texas. Now we are behind the Spurs and Mavs?

    This is an embarassment to all Rockets fans. To have a Spurs fans say that they're team has MORE CHAMPIONSHIPS and then probably say HAKEEM TRAVELS is the worst thing I can think of than nuclear war. Spurs fans are elated with their HEB hot dogs and slamming down Lone Star beer.

    Never would I have dreamt that when the Rockets went into San Anotonio when David Robinson won the MVP and beat the Taco Cabana out of the Spurs, that this day will happen.

    This tradegy must be addressed. Dear Les, we let a crap town like San Antonio have more championships than us.
    Dear Les, why did you not try to get Robert Horry back where he belongs? Dear Les, how about getting in the draft that actually can play in the NBA? Dear Les, this is Houston, the 4th largest city in America. Dear Les, San Antonio was were we got beat by Mexico.
    Have some Freakin pride!

    I speak for all of the real Rockets fans, when the Spurs win another one, this would be like the moment in the Planet of the Apes where Charelston Heston finally figures out what really happened.

    Hey, at least we have two in the last ten years or so. That's more than can be said for every other team in the league that's not L.A., San Antonio, and Detroit.

    And Heston's character in Apes is an arrogant a-hole.

    I don't see the spurs beating the Heat. The spurs still have no answer for Shaq and Wade and the heat have a bunch of good role players that can D up with the best of them.

    How do you know the Heat are going to win it? the series will definetly go 7.

    The Rockets need an athletic rebounding PF to compete. We got outrebounded by the Mavericks.

    If this Rockets team played the Spurs team that Hakeem whipped, Rodman would have gotten 30 rebounds a game MINIMUM.

    Yeah I hate that SA will have the chance to have more championships than Houston.

    I believe that you can put an * by their 1st championship in1999 b/c it was a strike year and not an 82 games played. It seems tainted.

    CD needs to clean those bottle cap glasses of his and analyze some talent.

    We lucked out and had #1 pick and Hakeem who brought 2 championships. They lucked out and had #1 pick and Duncan who brought 2 championships.

    Guess what? We lucked out again and have Yao now. And, we also have McGrady! Guys, it's only a matter of time!

    I hate the Spurs.

    If the Spurs winning a third championship doesn't upset you, then please dawn your silver and black Tony Parker jersey and return the Yao jersey you got from Academy.

    If you want to pile on me, then try it. I'm not going to shy away. I'm going to Vernon Maxwell and Cassell you. Im going Hakeem the Robinson out of you. This is what a true Rocket fan believes in. TMACing the fake Rockets fans and showing them that they are Shawn Bradley.

    If there were only 100 members on this board, and they were REAL ROCKETS fans, then this board is the greatest. Too bad Clutch is so Tomjonavich and let some of Jamersons and Pippens on this team.

    It has nothing to do with my love for the Rockets or my hatred for the Spurs. I just find your rambling idiocy to be rather annoying. My own fault for reading it and responding to it.

    In other words, your brand of being a fan does not necessarily work for everyone else. I love the Rockets and I don't like the Spurs, Mavs, Knicks, or Jazz. I've got autographed pictures of Hakeem and Akeem on my walls. I am also not embarassed that someone else is winning the title. I have hopes for next season and beyond because the Rockets are just starting to be what I believe will be better than the mid 90's teams. I don't care what other teams do.

    The story behind the HEB hot dogs was back in the day when the Spurs played in a football stadium, I bought tickets to watch that Rockets team that had Anakin Pippen. Little did I know he was not the chosen one. I was hungry so I headed to the consession stands and wanted a hot dog. its something like $3. it said HEB HOT DOGs.
    I was shocked. I'm not going to eat a hotdog KNOWING that its the HEB generic brand. Spurs fans aren't ashamed of the cheapness of it all. At least they had Papadaux's at the Compaq Center (place where the Rockets played to all of you Spurs fans here), so real quality stuff.


    oh, Drayton McClane drinks beer from San Antonio too, He's a cheapskate.
