I just wanted to thank three posters who have done an awesome job of adding contributions to this particular forum this season and over the past year. Durvasa: I'm not into stats like this guy is, but he has done a lot of research to start informative threads that really have a lot of interesting and involved statistical analysis. even if you're not into stats, they still provide good conversation. Kim: see above, also has provided great statistical analysis to provide stimulating conversation. Rockets2K. Providing the links after every game, another great contribution. feel free to add other posters who have done an outstanding job of making this a quality web site.
I would like to thank pgabriel! And of course my Hero; DDakota. Man, you almost always agree with me and that is rare.
I'd add pryuen in your list. But he'd better to exclude the articles of Wang Meng (or whatever name) from his translation pool.
I appreciate the comments, pgabriel. I enjoy reading your posts as well. Other posters I like (in no particular order): SamFisher Van Gundier Kim m_cable Rockets2K ClutchCityReturns
just drop it already...you mentioned this like three times.... it's not like pryuen wants to give us false info....to pryuen...you relentless ability to score us rocket fans with Yao info is phenomenal... props to you for all your work...
I appreciate everyone engaged in the discussions, whether we agree or not. I appreciate Clutch and the crew putting in the effort to keep this forum running.
well, like I said, my target is not Pryuen, it's that Wang. If you can't get it, then read it once again.
I've never minded the sharing of articles from some of these "questionable" sources like HoopsWorld and Wang Meng. I personally like reading their takes, and I'm able to determine for MYSELF whether or not it lacks credibility. We are not little kids who are easily duped into believing everything we read. This is all in fun anways, and part of the fun is conjecture and throwing out wild ideas and seeing things from other points of view beyond the stale media outlets that are afraid to print certain things.
Woohoo! Thanks Now if I can somehow turn my posts into money. I just like promoting good discussion (and weeding out bad discussion) about my favorite topic: basketball. Go Rockets!
LOL ... I understand we are having 2 days off, but isn't it a bit too early to start an off-season popularity contest (or shall I say posters-I-agree-with contest)?
personally, my favorite poster gotta be DaDakota. the guy is just great. and I really enjoyed seeing him go at it with SamFisher. 2 respectable great members going at it in a peaceful way is just great. that's what makes this forum really interesting. I think durvasa is great as well. the guy is the best in providing stats and correcting your info in a non-offensive way. he is probably the only guy who persuaded me to change my opinion on something (I forgot what it is) ClutchCityReturns is a great guy and I have special respect to the guy because I love the "Tmac Remember the Name" mix that he made and i downloaded to my phone. special thanks have to go to NewYorker and Zboy. both of these guys are just so entertaining. NYer kept fighting with a bunch of people and they chased him around every where, and Zboy came in and provided some hilarious insight on the play of Juwan Howard and Skip to my Lou. he is best known for his hilarious sig which goes: one, two, skip to my lou three, four, bricks some more five, six, Juwan in the mix seven, eight, oh that's great! LOL my favorite poster of all time is Tinman. even though I haven't read anything from him in a while, I enjoyed defending MadMax and our champion rockets in a thread about 6 months ago. Tinman is what u call original, he is a true rockets fan. my list keeps going on and on and on, includes pgabriel, Kim, Rockets2k, and others. sorry if I didn't mention your name but I sure respect a lot of people in this forum.
I appreciate my posts the most. I like so many posters I can't remember them all. I really enjoy this board; somedays it is actually more entertaining than the games themselves.
