My friends know that I am a glutton for "limited time only" special's at fast food places.

I swear to God, if there is an advertisement for Burger King's "New limited time only Whopper's with extra pickles! Taste what you've been missing!" I'll buy it.

Hell, they had a Whataburger add a few months ago that said I could order my Whataburger with grilled onions on Texas toast, and I'll be damned if I didn't try it. (It sucked by the way)

That stated.... NEVER EVER BUY A TACO BELL "BOWL" !!

They suck on an exponential level. Like every time you try a new bowl it sucks 10 times as much as the first one. (this will continue if you keep trying them)

On a good note (NOT FOR THE CHOLESTEROL IMPAIRED!!)

The BEST invention I've had so far is at Jack in the Box.
Answer: Ultimate cheeseburger on sourdough bread.

I DEFY anyone to try this and tell me it is not the best fast food burger you've ever had.

#2. (but you have to have Stubb's BBQ sauce)
Order a whopper w/o mayo or mustard, then pour stubbs BBQ on it and micro for 22 seconds.

    AWESOME!

(Seriously, remember Sonic's add where they placed an onion ring in the burger? I HAD to have it the next day!!)

Hmmm. Taco Bell? Bowl? There's got to be a joke there somewhere...

Sorry to DEFY you, :) but the ultimate drive through burger is a BackYard Burger. There used to be one on the corner of Mopac and Parmer in Austin but alas it was shut down. Tastes like a burger you would grill in the backyard, hence the name.

They don't have Jack in the Box's in the Northwest, but the Ultimate Chesseburger was always my favorite. Do you mean to tell me they merged the Ultimate Cheeseburger and Sourdough Jack?

Umm.. no JITB in the Northwest??? I'm not sure where you live but there are plenty of them in Seattle and Portland.. My favorite $2 meal (that I'm not preparing) has to be 2 tacos and a chicken sandwich...

See!!! They just did it to me again! I just saw a special at McDonald's with a new Triple Take Special.

    Here it is:
A Triple Cheeseburger and a Triple Thick Shake for $3 bucks.

And I can guarantee you I know what I'm getting for lunch tomorrow.

Damn you Limited Time Only Specials! Damn you to Hell!

Mulder. I've had Backyard Burger when I was in Memphis. It's a good burger, but my problem with the place is that the burger's are too small for the price. Tasty, though.

DCKid: They don't have Ultimate Cheeseburger with Sourdough Bread on the menu, but if you ask for, they'll make it that way--typically 25-40 cents more, and well worth it. My friend showed me this years ago, and I've ordered it this way ever since.

Nice side note: they don't advertise it but JITB will now serve you breakfast all day!

And my personal favorite "healthy" fast food choice? The fajita Pita at JITB. It rocks too!

Oh, and if y'all haven't tried out the new Chili-cheeseburger at JITB, you're missing out.

The triple cheeseburger at Jackncrack will take care of any hunger pains you have.

Also have to go with the classic bigmac

The funny thing about Stubb's is the restaurant (at least in Lubbock) wasn't very good.

But in my opinion, Stubb's BBQ sauce is the best store bought sauce in the land.

OH! And if you really feel like killing yourself early try The Ultimate Cheeseburger on Sourdough Bread with Bacon! Cost:$4.
    Fat: I dunno, 100 grams!
    Taste: Priceless!

OK, I had the "Triple Take" at McDonald's yesterday. A complete "why bother?"

The triple cheeseburger tasted exactly like the double cheeseburger, which tastes exactly like the cheesebuger.

The "new triple-thick" shake tasted exactly like every other shake I've ever had at McDonald's. EXACTLY the same.

Also, I tried the "new" Chili-cheese pasta at James Coney Island. What were they thinking???? This is absolutely attrocious! It is nothing more than bland spaghetti with Coney's chili and cheese goop poured all over it, and they include a horrible tasting piece of garlic bread, to boot. DO NOT TRY THIS! (you have been warned.) It also costs 4 dollars, and it isn't filling enough.

Screw you Ken Hoffman! I'm much better at fast food reviews than you are.

Did you have the Slammers from Hardee's....

...or the new Southwest chicken salad from Wendy's (pretty good I must say, but no match for the Mandarin salad).

Oh and those spicy chicken tacos from Taco Bell aren't great.

    A.) They aren't spicy

B.) They kinda make you sick.

    Not terrible, though.

Then there's the Subway Southwest Chipotle Steak & Cheese sandwich (until July 6).

I don't have high regards for new Subway items.

They Don't have Hardee's anywhere near Houston. (closest is Amarillo.)

I've tried all the new salads at Wendy's. The mandarin was the best one, but it was really rich, and got old by the time I was finished. The worst one is the Taco Salad. They pour crappy Wendy's bean chili all over the salad, and the lettuce wilts and becomes soggy immediately.

I'm not a fan of any chicken thing at Taco Bell. Not too thrilled with their steak, either. Stick with the Meximelt, and get them to make you a "cheesarito. It's cheese, green onions, onions, diced tomatoes, and the mexican pizza sauce, and it rocks!

I haven't been to Subway in a while. Was never a big fan, so I'm doubting I'll try their new Chipotle southwest sandwich anytime soon.

damnit.... i miss jack in the box so much. they don't have them here in atlanta.

a friend and i were talking about antennae and later antenna balls were brought up. i mentioned something about jack in the box and the guy had no clue. sigh... the ultimate cheeseburger was my favourite. by the way... it's been so long that i've had one.... it didn't come with bacon, right? i think i remember having ask.

i'll have to try the taco bell "bowl" thing (hmmm... ratemypoo.com popped into my head with the whole bowl thing... damnit, who started that thread?). i would've been extremely pissed if they didn't have taco bell here.

Omega: As I stated earlier, the Taco Bell Bowls are Horrid. If you want to try one, be my guest. I just found them to be Gawd-awful.

Yes, BackYard Burgers makes a very good burger. This chain is in Arkansas and scattered throughout the south and midwest. It is hard to believe Jack in the Box and Whataburger are not in central Arkansas.

    PS. The Hogs suck

Thanks Fatty. I managed to fight off the urge to go get the Ultimate Cheeseburger on sourdough last week, so what do you do? Bring this thread back up.
