http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2005-05-03/13141540179.shtml Some stuffs from the post-game report of a chinese journalist from Dallas: 1. DW shouted and drove reporters out of the locker room after the game. 2. As a guy who usually holds every piece of his broken heart to himself, Yao even managed a smile: ¡±It¡¯s no good to lose, but as the old Chinese saying goes ¡®wind changes all the time¡¯, you never know what gonna happen tomorrow¡±. Colin Pine, like he often does, fumbled with the translation of this ¡±old Chinese saying¡±, and Yao smiled again, which made people around him feel much better. 3. ¡°Offensive rebounds, missed FTs, those all are bad enough. But we didn¡¯t lose faith in the fourth quarter, we just refused to get hurt..¡± Yao also said ¡°we must give T-MAC the ball, we trust him¡±. 4. Yao¡¯s take of the crumbling of defense in the fourth quarter is because ¡±players were very tired, we wanted to keep pace with them but our legs were just heavy.¡± 5. and ¡°we will play the next game the way we did in the fourth quarter¡±. 6. T-MAC: "I shouldn¡¯t have missed free throws in crunch time, but I know none of us is gonna leave the court without holding his head high.¡± 7. in the last 3 seconds, Yao whispered into T-MAC¡¯s ears when he is on the FT line. Though the last play wasn¡¯t what he told T-MAC, Yao smiled and said it might be in store next time.
Is it that evil? I don't fancy it that much either, but I guess you can't confuse what is posted on it with what is made up by it totally
I'm just curious what Yao's game plan of that last 3 seconds might be. My guess is T-mac misses the free throw intentionally then Yao buries the 3-pointer.
Reading Yao's lips, I think he said "miss the free throw, make the ball bounce off the rim high, and I'll lift Dirk Knwibitchy up with one hand, and dunk that miss in with another hand, and I hope the refs call a foul on Dirk!"
I cann't belive there are still people who still find reasons to blame Rockets players for the losses. Those people are either wet behind their ears or plain Rockets haters. From Game 3 it's become damn obvious Refs are out to get Rockets. After McGrady sank the shot at 2.2 seconds mark, they ain't gonna give Rockets another chance. Rather refs determined to change the momentum mid way through the 3rd or 4th quater. Rockets have no F|_|cking way winning those games when they play 5 on 8 especially when Mavs are led by Dirty Dirk. David Stern is mentally unfit to be the commissioner of the NBA and there ought to be a congressional hearing of this. Mavs & Cuban et al, GO F|_|CK thyself. OZ
The Rockets were playing sloppy. They shouldn't have been in the position where the refs could do damage.
10 hours after the loss, whenever I set my eyes on Yao and T-mac's picture, I still feel the pain. Well, females are supposed to be weak, so I forgive myself. As far as I see, there were no bitter words towards the refs in either Yao or T-mac's comments. Basically they just said we were not the better us until the fourth quarter, and we SHALL play like the better us could in the next one. And try to figure out why we couldn't be that better us before the 4th quarter. They do have the heart. My only concern is they may get exhausted after such an emotional loss.
I dont think so.. I think they will come out with the fire and drive to win the next game.. it's gonna be game 7 that I'm worried about..
