Rick Adelman talks about the win, Von Wafer and stopping Chris Paul.

Tracy McGrady talks about the Rockets playing to their level of competition, how they're trying to find their chemistry and the team's energy being good.

Also audio from Chris Paul and Hornets coach Byron Scott ... Paul didn't think the Rockets defense was the factor and that it was the Hornets just missing shots. Scott thought it was a "little of both".

Thanks Clutch. Paul just can't admit that he got owned by Brooks.

Why does Paul's comments not surprise me? I can't help it- I like LeBron, Kobe, Wade, heck, I really don't mind Deron Williams and Boozer, for the most part, but I can't stand that little arrogant prick. He says that almost every time he loses- wasn't the other team, we just didn't do our job. OK.

Yeah CP3, your crappiness tonight had NOTHING to do with the Rockets defense.

chris paul is really cocky, i especially hated all those unnecessary fouls when the game was decided with less than a minute left

Add punching people in the nuts to the list of his qualities.

Ouch! Seriously, let’s pretend we're Hornets fans for just a second....would you want your AS starting PG conceding that fact that Houston defense was what stopped them?

In actuality, we did stop him as well as the rest of the Hornets, but if they admit it then it’s a mental block that they would have to overcome.

Do you think the Spurs defense beat us or did we just have a bad fourth quarter shooting? I choose to think we beat ourselves although SA would probably say otherwise.

We deserved to lose against Portland, but are they really better? I don't think so, but I bet there a million fans in Portland that would say otherwise.

I actually admire the fact that he chooses to believe that they lost it rather than we beat them. If he admitted that they're not as good as the Rox then I sure wouldn't want him on my team.

Never, never admit that your opponent is better than you - even if they are (see Houston vs. LA). Houston played a bad game - Shane didn't play, Yao and T-Mac are still injured and Artest didn't play to his potential. LA thinks they beat us, I think we beat ourselves. See where I'm coming from?

Slam CP3 all you want, but not because he doesn't give us credit. We all know why we won, as does he, but to ask him to admit we're a better team is sheer lunacy.

No, that is absolutely not the point. Kobe, LeBron, etc. at least acknowledge occasionally that some one/team played great against them. Show me the last time Paul said this. Never does- and yes, there's a difference. I've read enough quotes from the guy- league paints him as "one of the good guys" and he just isn't. Maybe some see it as making him great, I see it differently. If Magic and Stockton can readily admit when someone played great against them, then...never mind, "it's what makes Chris Paul great." Yep.

Even though Paul was not able to score much, he did set up opportunities for his teammates. He and Chandler hooked up for some nice plays as usual. Peja and Peterson were complete deadweight at the 2 and 3, especially compared with TMac and Artest. The Rockets simply have a much superior roster. CP3 is right to not pass the buck, the Hornets did not play well enough to deserve towin.

Even if players try to spin it that way, it doesn't matter. We all know why he had a bad shooting night.
