post-game analysis starts here... Recap: <a href="http://rockets.clutchfans.net/725/houston-rockets-washington-wizards/">Size Matters: Rockets shrink in fourth</a>
Part of the reason we were good last year was Lowry played like he cared and Chase couldnt miss. Without those 2 things, we are in trouble.
And we all thought the Minny win was something to build on. Fool's gold. The effort was there, though. We just suck.
Why in the damn world would Lowry play down the stretch when he sucked this game? Oh but Lowry should start over Brooks? Comical as hell then and comical as hell now. Ish played good tonight yet Lowry plays at the end of a close game. Where was Jordan Hill? We could not get a rebound out there defensively. Terrible performance
I'm confused by quite a few things that transpired tonight. They kill us with height so we go short, but not fast. Hill sits the entire 2nd half, not counting the garbage time at the end. We sit Ish in favor of Kyle Bonzi for a long stretch when Ish was one of the only ones keeping us in the game. The offense never looked fluid even with Ish's crisp passes, it was all at half-speed, like a walk-through. Was that Yao's injury deflating us? Where does Martin's shot go in the 4th (tonight's aberration in the early 4th was quickly fixed)? Are the rotations random or drawn from a set playlist that we don't deviate from no matter what happens, like scripting the first X offensive plays in a football game? I just don't understand so much of what happened tonight, and to a lesser degree in the previous games, where at least we played with some passion and fire. Sigh.
Is there another John Wall in the next draft? If so, i wouldn't mind if we lose the rest of the season
There is something different about this team from last year, even though most of the same players are back...oh yeah, heart.
