So that Battier scrub is kind of important.

my reply to Rockston in the game thread:

I have my doubts about Martin, but calling him a "mere role player" is just getting stupid to make a point.

They ceased any ball movement and whoever had the just took a lazy, hungry shot. Quite pity-full.

I agree, people seriously undervalue him on this board. We were also missing Hill and Jeffries, we are just decimated right now.

Our shots weren't falling and the Oklahoma offense was overwhelming. When the Rockets shoot .500+, they have not lost a game this season.

Serge I-blocka! I thought that was kinda funny. This team has little room for error and need all hands on deck. They lost the little height they had and replaced them with a 6'4 rookie and a 6'6 pf again. OK City is a good young team and can show the rockets about being scared to rebuild.

Not only that, we also have players playing hurt (Martin, Lowry).

How many times can Rockets to that in a season?

And how many times Rockets have given up .500+ to opponents this season?

There is no way offense would be consistent unless you have a guy like Nash running the show, defense is the key to keep you in the game when you can't shoot as goos as you like.

    We don't have defense now.

    Battier.

Seriously, if anyone thinks Ariza is starting because he's better than Battier (at anything), and not because the Rockets promised him that when he signed, you need to get your head checked.

Missing Jordan Hill didn't help, since he's our only player with any kind of size in spite of still being raw.

I didn't expect to win this, and don't expect to win many more.

Anyone want to suggest a fun team to follow in the playoffs?

Just so sad. We finish another season talking about injuries and more injuries. Heartbreaking.

rebuild theory and use OKC as an example...yeah lemme know when another Durant is available

rebuild theory looks way better when you have a Durant

I'll be cheering the Cavs. Lebron is too damn good not to enjoy, and watching the Lakers lose to them would be awesome.
