Why would I want him instead of T-Mac? All Kobe did was lose every year in the 1st round since Shaq left.

2 scoring titles? T-Mac's been there, done that.

I'm not worried about individual greatness. I agree that Kobe has a healthier body than T-Mac at this point in their careers. Talent-wise, he is not better and probably worse.

Back to the point, which you totally missed...

Who the **** is post-Shaq Kobe? What has he done??

Gotten out of the 1st round since Shaq left? No, not yet.

This year he has a better supporting cast and he still won't get past the 2nd round. He's a pretty good player, that's about it. He isn't good enough to carry a team like the great ones could.

The block is good. The block and saving the ball to Scola? Damn impressive.

It reminds me of the game against GS where Scola blocked the inbounds pass with his chest and then dove to save the ball from going out of bounds, throwing a pass over his shoulder to Head who drove to the basket.

    Future's bright with these two.

    How SWEET it is!

On a side note, does anyone else think Doug Collins is a Rocket hater? I can't stand his commentary.

Well, that's what I'm saying. Have Scola/Landry out there more often. Boozer might've scored more, but our team as a whole did better with Hayes out. Which is worth more? Boozer scoring 4-6 more points a game or our team outscoring them in the 4th quarter? Hayes is only valuable in small doses. Too much Hayes and you OD.

kobe's a top 2 player right now (i think lebron is the best). he scores much better than tmac right now. but tmac impacts the game in other ways. his defense has been much better than kobe so far in the playoffs, along with his playmaking.

both guys are asked to do different things.

Carlos Boozer's statement about not coming back to Houston reminds f Kevin Johnson in 1995, when he said the same thing after Game 4 of that series. Atleast he said Houston was a nice city and atleast he had a couple of monster 40 point games to back up his statement.

Boozer doesn't give the city any respect, and just blatently says the Jazz aint coming back to houston, while not having anything close to a spectacular series being shut down by a 41 year old, an undrafted 6'5 power forward, and a rookie. Nice timing Carlos Boozer...Maybe you should ask Kevin Johnson what happene last time he said he wasn't returning to Houston and maybe Deron Williams should've said that since he's been leading yall, not you...

Boozer's statement was of great quality bulletin board material to motivate our guys. This series has just started, we won the battle in game 3, now it's time to return the favor on Saturday

Guys let him be. Karma will get to him, just like it did to boozer. We should stop critcizing and be like the warrior fans.

BELIEVE. NO HATE. The basketball god helped us with this win because he was disgusted by boozer's comments. And lukaluver will have whats coming to him and the lakers.

BELIEVE PEOPLE, NO HATE. DON'T GET OVERCONFIDENT. BELIEVE.

Im so glad we won this game!!

but we still need to work on those free throws .... we could have probably won game 2 if we would had shot better at the line.

TMAC/SCOLA are shooting like 50% there

wtf! i noticed it right away when i was watching it live. but i hadn't seen it in slow mo until i saw this. the guy pulls down scola's arm and then flails his in the air like a mad man. same way he produced the offensive foul called on mcgrady.

what a douche bag. he should be suspended for the series. this is so disgraceful and disrespectful to the game of basketball. a typical sloan product.

Guys, I was just wondering... how did Gene and Jim react to Landry's monster block and save? Is there any audio clips available or a way to stream their broadcast of the game?

    Thanks in advance. :D

IF THE ROCKETS CAN WIN 22 GAMES IN A ROW, THEN THEY SHURE AS HELL CAN WIN THE SERIES DOWN 0-2 WITH HOME COURT.

“Free throws definitely hurt us. You lose a game by two points and you miss 13 free throws, it’s definitely frustrating,” Williams said.

um deron, have you checked our ft shooting?
