    Some great PF production.

Scola and Landry combined had 34 pts (14/24) and 16 rebs

    ---------------

And what a shocker, we outrebound the Clippers 46-40 (12-11 off. reb) and we pull out the win despite T-Mac struggling.

    Rebounding is crucial.

A win's a win and for tonight, that's all I care about. We stunk it up for 3 quarters, pulled away slightly in the 4th and that's that.

Luckily, the Clippers are every bit as bad as advertised and that definitely helped us out tonight. It remains to be seen how Artest is still going to A) find his game and b) gel with this team, but when and if he does... look out. Until then, it's going to be a struggle. Every game will be a struggle like this.

Shane's going to help a ton. There's no doubt about that. Shane isn't going to fix Ron's game though, but he should be able to take a significant amount of pressure off for Ron and hopefully that'll get him turned around if he isn't already by that point. T-mac was definitely hobbling around tonight and wasn't very effective at all on the second night of a back to back. That's to be expected though. McGrady's battling 800 injuries right now and the second game of a back to back just didn't mesh well with him. Yet, we still won by nearly 10 points and McGrady had two entire points . That's not a half bad deal when one of your stars can have two points and you still win by a decent margin. Fortunately, Landry showed up in a huge way tonight and that was definitely the difference.

Yao didn't have a great game by any means and I certainly don't know what Bill was talking about when he said that. That being said, he did have a good game. 16 pts, 9 rebs, 5 blks. Yao looked tired out there at times, but he played with more passion than he did in the Blazers game for sure and looked better than he did in the Blazers game. I don't know what Yao's deal was for the previous few games but hopefully this game goes at least a small way towards getting that confidence back.

We've got the potential to be such a damn good team and it's a shame we're wasting it right now. Yet, it's still not even 10 games into the season so let's see what happens.

Yao showed up on the defensive end.
    Landry is awesome
Scola is perfect in the first qtr then he started playing like a knucklehead.

    Great win.

Despite all the negativities, we are still leading our division.

I am really confused and angry at our lack of rebounding, based on last night and tonight. not just yao...eVERYone...

you know that rebound AB ferociously yanked down last night? I want to see more of that. from the people above 6'0'' included...

I wonder why we did not play our starter in the end??

maybe... RA still tries to figure out which lineups work the best??

Is it a trend that the Rockets play at the level of the opponent no matter which team they are playing?

Anyway, a win is a win. Yao played a little better than he did in last two games. Good to see that Landry is back.

The night against Laker game will be a long one.

as long as we sigh an effective backup C and have a healthy Battier back, we will be fine

Hornets even lost to Bobcats, making their record 3-2, so our Rockets really have nothing extremely serious to worry about.

Hope they have a good sleep and try to show some energy in front of the Lakers on Sunday night.

Yao looks miserly out there on the court, I just hope he picks himself up before the Laker game because Bynum is young and dangerous, and has a lot to prove when he faces Yao.

Good news is that we don't need T-mac to win games anymore.
Bad news is that T-mac didn't hit a single field goal.

Finally, Scolandry should fuse DBZ style so they can be MVPs!

    Yup.

A 31-footer and a blown defensive assignment is between us and 5-1.

A no show by Yao against the Celtics is between us and 6-0.

see i didn't even care for yao's points in this game.

his impact was on the defensive end. 5 blocks with 9 boards. if he can do hat every game, we'd be great. yao played great tonight. more 4-5 block game, and rocket fans will chant his name.
