It all depends on how well we tank the rest of the season. :(

Right now we are 13 in the percentage stuff.the least we can get is Solomon Alabi 7''1' center. not bad.

inexperience and lack of fourth quarter urgency. These are symptoms of a lottery bound team. Looking forward to their growth next year with Yao...this season is packed in just about now. I hate to admit it but it's true.

Alabi sucks.. I hope they stay away from him...

if the Rockets stay at 14.. they should look at Monroe, Udoh, or Sanders.

If Coach do not know coaching of 4th quarter, let someone else do it. If you do know, tell your players to follow your coaching.

Bye bye playoffs. Can't wait for next season though. Glad to see some positive life from Hill.

We're not bad enough to get the top pick in the draft and not good enough to get the last playoff spot.

I hope this is a character building experience for everyone.

Why was Hill in the game late in the 4th? I don't like Jeffries' offense, nor should anyone, but the guy is a good defender. Anyway, we got absolutely killed by three straight Tayshaun Prince dunks. Where was Mr. Intangibles?

Disagree with it being on coach. With an 8 point lead an three to play, no way we should lose. Our transition D was horrible and we settled for jumpers. When you have the lead late, attack the basket

Unfortunately, we are mathametically eliminated from the top 9 lottery positions with the exception of winning the lottery. Rockets are currently in the 13th spot.

The 10th position is held by the Clippers. The Rockets would need to lose almost every game and have the Clippers win most of their games.

The most attainable high position is the 11th spot. The Hornets and Bobcats are tied at 11th and 12th spot. Both teams are half a game ahead of us. Rockets just need to lose 2 more games than the Hornets and Bobcats for the rest of the season. That's easily obtainable. ;)

My obligatory 7-24. Good news is that things can only get better, right?

Missed the entire game, just looking at the box score right now. What the hell is up with Budinger only playing 15 minutes? Did he get hurt?

No, instead of increasing his minutes, they are cutting them....and he has been playing very well.

It is mind numbing that Adelman is screwing up the rotation...Morey should sit him down and tell him to play the young guys.

Sometimes the GM needs to step in when the coach is screwing it up.

Anyone know what the highest seed to get a top 3 pick was?

Orlando got it as the No. 11 team, which at the team has the lowest chance, in 1993.

I've been following the lottery hunt in this thread...http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=182582&page=3

Not sure if this has been asked yet or not, but clearly the 3 point line wasn't doing any well for most of the team tonight, why didn't they just drive to the paint? It drives me crazy when they start jacking up three's. If something isn't working, try something else. Really hope Kyle returns soon, I know he likes to create the contact, and hopefully his return will allow Aaron some rest.

The curse of Brian Cook affected Brooks last 3 point attempt. Brian Cook and his great shooting linger over the Rocket players in crunch time once again.

We let Tayshaun Prince get 3 easy fast break dunks in the 4th qt. because they didn't get back on defense.

If you're trying to make the playoffs you can't allow things like that to happen.

We need to develop a killer instinct. Put these damn teams away.
