They made more shots then we did, i think that was the key for them.

Jordan Hill was terrific defensively. He did a great job against Howard, even though Howard scored over him a couple of times.

I would be more worried if this was really what we are going to see in Game 1 of the season.

Because of Preseason, we don't know if they took it easy but I have to say if we are going to constantly feed Chuck Hayes in the low post as an option....boy we will be in trouble.

Some of you all act like you have never seen a preseason game. Seriously, 1st game of the preseason, how about we just chill?

First, i'd like to say i like what i saw from Jordan Hill. I was really surprised at the way he handled his own against Howard. I liked Patterson getting aggressive for rebounds. It was obvious that Yao was not quite Yao, but that is to be expected. Hopefully, he is ok. All in all, the team did well.

Oh god, we lost a preseason game! Time to rebuild!

Seriously, though. Yao looked pretty slow, but it would be a surprise if he didn't. Offensive creation looked iffy, but give it time.

Lee looked great; Budinger was knocking down shots very well. And we've got guys like Scola and Lowry who we KNOW can give us a lot more, they were just quiet tonight.

    Jordan Hill did good also

Battier and Scola could have done better I thought
But Lee and Lowry I like that combo draw some fouls and some more fouls

Actually, seems like some of the veterans were (probably wisely) taking it easy- e.g. Scola and Battier definitely

I did notice Ish Smith's passing, and both Jordan Hill and Kevin Martin looked good on the defensive side.
