Possible the refs might screw with Tmac next season

    Yes I know, nothing has been said or done yet, but his comments about the finals seeming rigged has gotten around the circle of NBA fans, which some happen to agree, and another portion is blasting away at him.There is a good chance he will be fined, and the refs may use a look the other way policy when he gets hacked during games.

    We know how they totally dumped on the Rockets because of Van Gundy's comments in last years playoffs, and Tmac has a knack for having his words misinterpreted and used against him.

    Just dont be surprised if it happens.

    We'll be fine as long as we don't play the Heat in the finals.
    But David Stern knows that if Houston makes it to the finals the ratings will be off the charts with those Chinese TV's and a bonus if he can get a Yao/T-Mac vs Shaq/Wade matchup.


    Damn, me, and about 1.5 billion Chinese dudes got called for a foul on Dwyane Wade.

    McGradySNKT I think your right last year the Ref's were hard on us because of the previous year comments of JVG.... Those Ref's do not forget those kind of comments.....

    You have more faith in their sense of humor than I do.

    Remember Vince and Mo Pete playing with eachother playfully slapping eachother in the head.

    Mo Pete gets a tech although they were both kidding. He was ejected from the game. It was totally out of line

    I think the state of the officiating in the NBA is atrocious. The refs often anticipate the call and make it regardless of actual occurance. Because, unlike other sports, playoff duty is not assigned by perforance, often some of the worst offenders officiate the finals. Yes, that's you Dick Bavetta.

    That being said, I don't think any of the officials make calls based on who they like or dislike. Sure, Dallas gets a lot of calls that go their way (except against Wade), but that's because Cuban sends the league a scouting tape of what to look for. So I think McGrady's going to be fine. He'll even still be able to to his double-clutch-jump-into-the-defender move that gets him 3 free throws.

    Sure. No grudges, but that doesnt mean they wont see him get hacked and say, "we didnt see that"

    Its not like a player can say anything against it. David Stern puts the mafia hammer down on anyone who talks against his refs

    The Rockets got thier sctrew job last season via Van Gundy's comments. They won't screw with Houston 2 years in a row because that would be to obvious and Les Alexander would no question call out Stern on it. If any team needs to worry about the Refs screwing them next season it the MAVS because of Cubans constant calling out of REFS and more importantly CALLING OUT OF STERN TWO TIMES. Stern didn't forget the comments of Van Gundy and he won't forget the comments of Cuban. Houston will be fine DALLAS WON'T BE. Mark my words!!!

    He did, and they still sent Mo Pete out. Funny thing is, they said they didnt see Vince, but saw Mo Pete :eek:

    I hope the Refs don't, but it magnify the situation against the league which wouldn't be good...I don't think there will be much significant reprisal...

    i would much rather focus on his health and this playing time than this issue right now. although your right..refs dont hold grudges.. :(

    the referees are a joke. they don't need extra ammunition to be absolutely terrible.

    i don't think the finals are rigged and i really don't think t-mac does either, but looking at those ridiculous amount of FT's that wade got i certainly can understand that viewpoint.
