Link: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/hou/depthchart obviously, lowry isn't backup point guard right now because he's injured. what's you guys' thoughts on the depth chart that is on yahoo right now? Think it's accurate? if not, what adjustments would you guys like to see?
I see lots of issues with that depth chart. 1. I would guess that Battier is most likely backing up Ariza now (or vice versa for all of you champions of intangibles out there). 2. Budinger is still going to get his minutes. He seems more likely to be our back up at the 2. 3. Jermaine Taylor is not really a point guard. 4. It will be interesting to see if Jeffries or Hill get more playing time this year. One of those guys should emerge as the back up 4. Do the Rockets want to develop/showcase Hill? Would they do that even if Jeffries is more prepared to contribute this year? I haven't seen much of either, so this is mostly blind speculation.

Way off. Here's how I see it: Brooks / Lowry Martin / Brooks / Taylor Ariza / Battier / Bud Scola / Anderson Hayes / Hill Jeffries / Temple will be rotting the pine. Unfortunately expect to see Bud's and Taylor' minutes go down as well.
