I will feel this would work for all the teams involved. Heres the Teams Houston, Chicago, Orlando, and Sacramento. If you think about it. All the teams here are connected in some way. Chicago owes Houston a first round pick, With Yao Ming and Jason Williams not coming out this year; and not even near being out the lottery next year; They wouldn't dare have to give that pick away next near; Plus there's no clear #1 to take this year. Orlando owes Houston a First Round pick, And I do believe they will give it to Houston The 18 pick overall. Even though Mike Miller won the Rookie Year Award this year, I still feel they will use him as trade bait, as his stock has risen. Sacramento has two problems on there hands, Jason Williams and of Course Webber. They would like to get rid of Both, but I don't see them being on the same team next year. Houston would not touch White Chocolate with a ten foot pole; But Surely Webber is a Rocket Next Year. Houston wants and will get Webber; The only thing is they want to get rid of Cato and move up in the Draft. So this is my prediction that will happen come Draft Day, and after July 1. Sacramento: Sign and Trade Webber to Houston. Trade Jason Williams to Orlando* "See the Florida Connection" Houston: Sign and Trade, MO Taylor to Orlando* "Orlando was his first option anyway" Sign and Trade Shandon Anderson to Sacramento. "He just have to live with it." Trade Cato, #13, #18, 2001 first round Picks to Chicago. Also releases first round pick obligations that Chicago owes to Houston. "Worth it if they take Cato off our hands" Chicago: Sends Houston There Number 1 Pick This year "Hopefully a Top 3 pick" Sends Fizer and Ron Artest to Sacramento. Orlando: Sends Mike Miller to Chicago *Chicago wanted to trade Fizer to Portland for Jermaine O' Neil, That's the Only reason they drafted him, as well they wanted Mike Miller. With the Rockets late round picks they can pick up The UNC Bunch Joe Forte and Brandon Haywood. Chicago new line up: Brand, Cato, Mercer, Forte, Miller, with Haywood a Backup. *Orlando wanted MO Taylor last year now heres there chance to get him. With Grant Hill coming back, don't believe they going to have him playing point. Jason Williams played ball at Florida, now he's closer to his Dad. Orlando new Line up: Williams, McGrady, Hill,Taylor, Outlaw? "Who Cares" * Houston got rid of Cato.. Enough said. Nahh but now they got Webber, got Eddie Griffin with Chicago First round pick, Yes I think Rudy will take the chance on him plus resigns Dream, With the 22 pick over all I do believe they will take Jason Collins. Houston new lineup: Webber, Cat, Wink, Griffin, Dream Sacramento: Not so bad after all. They got something back in return for Webber. Fizer and Artest. plus Shandon Anderson, Maybe Houston gives them the 22 pick overall but I doubt it since the draft is deep. Maybe they'll draft Gilbert Arenas with there pick, that I don't know of which one it is. If he fall to him. Sac's new line up?? I don't know you tell me.. ------------------ When I was Little I call in a local sports show and told them the Rockets should Trade Otis Thorpe for a Lottery Pick. They found me to be stupid.
Let me see if I've got this; Houston trades Anderson, Taylor, Cato,#13 and #22 picks and and releases Chicago from their obligation and in return we receive Webber and Chicago's first rounder in return? A little one sided, don't you think? ------------------
True.. Im looking at Cap Space. and the fact that they might bring in another Free Agent, Marc Jackson, Etc.. But I just threw something together, It maybe some more players involed that may land to Houston, Could you think of some guys Houston will want? ------------------ When I was Little I call in a local sports show and told them the Rockets should Trade Otis Thorpe for a Lottery Pick. They found me to be stupid.
toogq99 Since the trade is so complicated, please refigure it so we get Mike Miller as well as Webber plus the #1 - #4 draft choice so we can get a center of the future. Thanks. I'll be watching for a reply. ------------------
on paper it seems like that it would work for all the teams. Chicago would get 1st rounders to build up their horrible team, Sacramento will get something good in return for losing Webber, Orlando would get a point guard who has potential, while the Rockets would get Webber (the most important) and get a good athelete in Griffen. However, we can only imagine and these trades prob will not happen. ------------------
